After purchase you get a license key (format RANK-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX).
Install the APK, open the app, and enter the key on the first-launch screen. You need
an internet connection for this one step only — the app itself works fully offline
afterwards.
Each license key activates on exactly one device. This isn't about file secrecy — the APK itself is public — it's about making sure a single purchase can't be freely shared with other people's phones. If you try to activate the same key on a second device, it will be rejected.
Yes. RANK//OS identifies your device using an Android-level identifier that survives uninstalling and reinstalling the app, or clearing its storage. Reinstalling on the same phone will not count as a second device and will not need re-activation.
A factory reset or a genuinely new phone is treated as a new device, since at that point there's no reliable way to tell "the same honest buyer" apart from "a shared key". If this happens to you, email support with your license key and order details and we'll reset your activation manually.
RANK//OS isn't on the Play Store, so Android will ask you to allow installs from this source the first time. After downloading the APK, tap it, and when prompted enable "Install unknown apps" for your browser or file manager, then continue the install.
